The people appreciate this food so much! Saturdays are a wonderful, communal time for the residents. They gather together to receive and distribute the food, then they stay in the community room and talk and drink coffee for hours afterwards. They have really gotten to know each other well as a result of these donations.”

- Katey Ross, Resident Services Coordinator, Park Ridge Apartments

We are so grateful for the way lives has been changed since we met. God has a way of stepping in right on time. We have been truly blessed with the prepared food that we have been getting through Haven’s Harvest. The community is a better place with the help of people like you. We would like to stamp out hunger in the the city. This is a great start.

You have provided food to hundreds of our seniors. Through your efforts, you’ve provided nutritious food and serve those that need it the most. The benefits of your work are enormous especially in these times when the cost of good, nutritious food is always on the rise and the incomes of those that receive the food that you deliver are low.

- Migdalia Castro, Director of the Department of Elderly Services in New Haven
