At Haven’s Harvest, community building is at the core of our mission. we value the relationships fostered with communities who align with our work, and would love to support your group with a volunteer opportunity! Some examples of our group volunteering opportunities include:

• Midwest Food Bank Distribution: Once a month, we receive a truckload of dry goods to be distributed within the community. Volunteers are needed to help unload pallets and organize food for efficient distribution.

  • Current volunteer opportunities:

    • Every first Friday, early afternoon

• Haven’s Harvest Warehouse Cleanup: This ongoing opportunity allows volunteers to contribute by helping maintain and organize our 3,500-square-foot warehouse, ensuring a clean and efficient space for our operations.

  • Current volunteer opportunities:

    • Ongoing, as-needed

Although not required, community groups interested in volunteering with Haven's Harvest are encouraged to make a donation to support our mission. While volunteering plays a vital role in rescuing and redistributing food, financial contributions help sustain our operations, including organization, logistics, storage, and coordination efforts. Your support ensures we can continue reducing food waste and increasing food access in our communities!
